When deciding to start a business such as ours we knew the credibility of what we were trying to do would be greatly enhanced if the products that we were going to sell had a proven track record.



The two main types of products we sell definitely have a long standing proven track  record overseas, but the NZ market still holds products that rely on Bentonite Clay as the primary source of waterproofing, with a bit of a ‘mirrors and strings’ attitude.  That’s why we thought it very important to not only source products with the proven reliability we needed, but also ones that would stand up to the in depth scrutiny of a BRANZ Appraisal.

We are very happy with BRANZ and the help they gave us getting the products across the line. We have learnt a lot and can now confidently say our products are the ‘Rolls Royce’ of Bentonite Waterproofing Solutions. (Some have even won international awards! – see ‘Bentoject’ in our Bentonite Strips section.)



With BRANZ setting the bar so high, we sent our membrane off shore for testing. Precision Geosynthetic Laboratories in the U.S tested the membrane for 21 different tests, which needed to be done due to our, sometimes, harsh weather conditions and strict requirements of the NZBC.  All of these tests came back with at least equal and most cases better results than our competitors.



Another prerequisite of the BRANZ Appraisal for products such as ours is the need for a suitably qualified applicator.
